AI-Powered Feasibility and Valuation Platform Advances Toward Commercial MVP Development
Universiti Brunei Darussalam has awarded the FEVAL-AI project the BND 3,000 Acceleration Grant for Commercialisation during the Startup Induction Grant (SIG) 2026 Final Pitching Session organised by the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development Unit (EED), Office of the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Industry Engagement & Enterprise Development).
FEVAL-AI, which stands for Feasibility & Valuation Artificial Intelligence System, is a collaborative AI-driven platform developed to assist entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, incubators, and innovation ecosystems in making more informed business and investment decisions.
The project was presented by Dr Lukman Raimi and ANJORIN Ishaq O. Muhsin

The platform integrates structured feasibility analysis, startup valuation, entrepreneurial intelligence, and investment readiness support into a unified AI-assisted system.
According to the development team, FEVAL-AI aims to bridge a critical gap in entrepreneurial ecosystems by moving beyond conventional scoring systems toward intelligent decision-support mechanisms capable of diagnosing business weaknesses and recommending strategic improvements.
The system currently evaluates ventures across seven major feasibility dimensions:
- Market
- Technical
- Business
- Management
- Financial
- Regulatory
- Exit Strategy
The award represents an important milestone in advancing FEVAL-AI from a research prototype into a scalable Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for broader deployment and commercialisation.
Speaking on the achievement, the team highlighted that the grant will support:
- system refinement, AI enhancement, user testing, cloud deployment and commercial readiness initiatives.
The project aligns with growing global interest in AI-enabled entrepreneurial ecosystems inspired by innovation hubs such as Silicon Valley and emerging Asian innovation models.
The FEVAL-AI team expressed gratitude to the organisers, judges, mentors, collaborators, and supporters who contributed to the success of the initiative and reaffirmed their openness to future partnerships for scaling and ecosystem integration.
For collaborations, partnerships, and further information regarding FEVAL-AI, interested organisations and stakeholders are encouraged to connect with the development team.
